Description

Synthetic tetrapeptide derived from the pineal peptide epithalamin, developed in Russia by Khavinson and Anisimov. Animal studies report telomerase activation, reduced spontaneous tumor incidence in mice, and modest lifespan extension. Independent replication outside the original Russian groups is sparse; human controlled trials are essentially absent.

Safety & interactions

Limited safety data outside the originating research groups. Not regulated as a supplement in most markets. Telomerase activation carries theoretical cancer-risk concerns that have not been adequately studied in humans.
